O / A Levels

The subjects at the O level can seem to be new and challenging. Before subject combinations were chosen, subjects like science and math were taught generically. But after secondary 2, the subjects get further branched out into physics, biology and chemistry, elementary mathematics, additional mathematics, and the principle of accounts.

Subjects like English would be dealt with in greater depth. O-level English tuition teachers prepare students ahead for challenges that would even be encountered for General Papers in junior college. O-level tutors (in school and private tuition) emphasize the need for students to cultivate discipline and learn to stick to a regime because that will teach students to habitual good time management, which only comes with plenty of years of practice.
